Registration NOW CLOSED

Soccer registration for the fall season is now closed. We will be placing players off the waitlist in the order they registered as we receive withdrawal notices.

IMPORTANT: IF YOU NEED TO REQUEST A PRACTICE NIGHT PLEASE DO SO DURING REGISTRATION. IF YOU FIND OUT AFTER REGISTERING THAT YOU NEED A CERTAIN NIGHT PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMODATE REQUESTS FOR PRACTICE NIGHT CHANGES ONCE THE ROSTERS ARE SET.

The New Fields are Finally Installed!!!
Please Help Protect Them!

Water only on the artificial fields...No food, gum, candy, sports drinks, sodas, or coffee.  These things can gum up the in-fill and drainage system, plus cause mold and bacteria to grow.  Please no pets on the artificial fields.  Smoking and noise makers are not allowed at any of the VSA fields.  Click continue to see a picture history of the construction.

Donate to the VSA Field Fund
All proceeds will go to installation of new artificial turf fields at Long Park

CLICK HERE to make a donation.     Virginia Soccer Association is a 501c3 charitable not-for-profit organization.  All donors will receive recognition unless they desire anonymity.  Special donor opportunities exist (such as field naming to honor a family member).

Sportsmanship Expectations
The Virginia Soccer Association has certain expectations of exemplary sportsmanship on the part of the teams, players, coaches, volunteers, and parents participating in the league. The soccer skills that we teach our players will serve many of them well into adulthood.  In addition, all our players will benefit through-out their lives by what we teach them about sportsmanship, respect for their opponent, respect for the officials, and dignity.
Coaches F Licensing Course
August 2008
VSA is sponsoring an F license course for any coach who would be interested an obtaining the license and furthering their soccer knowledge. The license is not required for recreational coaches, but highly recommended. You will come away with a wealth of knowledge to use on the practice field. There will be 2 separate F modules a U6-U8 and U10-U12. See the course content descriptions below.

The 5 hour F course is completed over Friday evening and Saturday morning. The dates are Friday and Saturday, August 22 and 23. The classroom time will be held at Evergreen Volunteer Fire Department.

VSA will pick up the fee involved for all VSA coaches.  All we ask is that you register and send in a $10 deposit to hold your spot. You will receive the check back at the course. The course is open to all coaches in Virginia so spots will be filling quickly.

To register for the course please download the form using the link below and mail the form and your check to Bill Strachan, 3409 Logmill Rd, Haymarket, VA 20169.   The $10 check should be made payable to VSA.

For additional information Bill’s email is coaches@vsaonline.org.
