VSA ANNOUNCEMENT:

VSA is pleased to annouce three strong additions to the full-time staff here at VSA. VSA is always looking to move forward and grow our culture to encapsulate our vision. At VSA we believe that the additions of the following team members will be instrumental in continuing our growth. Here is what Technical Director Matt Lacey had to say about the hiring's "We are really excited to to hire 3 quality staff members into the club on a full time basis that will strengthen what we are already building and provide our membership with even more support. More importantly They are three quality individuals who have integrity on and off the field. They are all deserving of these roles and I am excited to see what they add to our club and growing culture"

Meet the new VSA Staff Members:

 

Nick Rich, Director of Soccer Operations–

Coming from the Richmond area where he most recently led an Elite team for Chesterfield United FC, Nick brings a vibrant work ethic, field experience, and passion for the game.  Prior to coaching for CUFC, Coach Nick was a head trainer at Own Touch Soccer/Futsol and an Assistant at his Alma Mater VCU.  He currently is finishing up his USSF D license.

Prior to coaching, Nick’s playing background is extensive- ranging from Chelsea’s youth academy from U7-U14, England School Boys U18 squad. He played at Tusculum College and then transferred to VCU where he wore the captain’s band for the Rams. He also had a spell playing professionally in the Costa Rica Premier Division.

Nick will be responsible for running our day-to-day operations, camp members, and other organizational responsibilities.

 

Alex Herrera, Assistant Director of Youth Development-

Finishing up his Internship here at VSA, Alex has shown his strengths on and off the field. Alex’s professionalism and commitment are top class; we look forward to seeing him in his new role. Alex has enjoyed coaching here at VSA in many facets. He has developed as a coach reaching his US National Youth License and USSF E License.

Alex comes to VSA as a very decorated player, captaining the Patriots of George Mason University while reaching many individual and team accolades, appearing on the U17 US National Team, D.C. United Academy, and a trialist with Southampton FC.

Alex will be responsible for overseeing and implementing Player Development Curriculums for U8-U10 travel, while continuing to develop an environment that best fits our players’ growth.

 

Bronson Gambale, Director of Public Relations-

Joining VSA after enjoying his time as Head Coach of Southeastern University Women’s Soccer Team, Bronson brings a passion for branding, marketing and casting the club’s vision. He has coached and trained all over the U.S. from youth, high school and college age groups. Three times Coach Bronson has won Coach of the Year awards, and has helped clubs and colleges rebrand and recruit top players.  He is known for his ability to build public interest and we look forward to utilizing those skills.

Before Bronson embarked on coaching, he enjoyed playing and captaining his Alma Mater North Central University. His time there as a player and Assistant Coach helped develop his passion for teaching and building culture.

Bronson will be responsible for all public relations, media, website, and brand/marketing growth.
