VSA Return to Play

On this page you will find VSA's return to play policies as Virginia starts to lift a number of restrictions due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The current dates within the document are tentative until we are given the green light from Prince William County to open up county facilities.

As a club we have taken sufficient time to create a return to play protocol that will safely have players resume soccer activities following state and national guidelines along with numerous medical sources. However, we understand returning to play is an individual's choice and we respect your decision on if this is the right time for your child to participate.

Implementing VSA’s Return to Play protocol will require a collaborative effort among coaches, parents and players. Each of us must be diligent at enforcing and following these protocols for the health and safety of our players, coaches, staff and their families.

We understand that players enjoy interacting with their teammates, but it is imperative that every player understands, adheres to and respects the social distancing requirements and no-contact guidelines that have been established.

Please take time to read through each of the following documents provided so you have a full understanding of expectations.

Return to Play Protocol - Guidelines

Phase 1 Plan

Starting June 9th members will be able to sign up for time slots for their child to participate in our Phase 1 return to play sessions. A separate email will be sent by the Directors with details and registration information. This is available to 2019-20 players. If you have any questions please contact your DOC.

As part of this process you will be required to sign 2 waivers before your child can participate in any on-the-field activity: (1) Assumption of risks associated with returning to play and (2) Acknowledgement of the return to play protocol.  There will be no exceptions to this policy.

Please sign the waivers HERE and select Waiver Program

**For families with multiple children a separate waiver must be signed for EACH child
