VSA FC returns for another season this winter!

Futsal is an exciting, fast paced and technically demanding game that has continued to grow all around the country, playing a key part in the development of youth players.

With its high-speed environment, it encourages players to think quicker, play quicker and move quicker. The small space provided by the court challenges individuals on a technical level to play under pressure and think creatively with and without the ball to be more efficient with the space they have.

Program Objectives:

Provide high-level training and demanding learning environment
Develop the individual in both technical and tactical areas of Futsal
Provide players with competitive games

Season Updates:

U9 / U10 Group (No tryouts required)

6-week long training season at local facilities
Season runs from December 4th – January 27th
- (Holiday Break from December Dec 19th – Jan 1st )
U9/U10 Teams will participate in one local festival
- Fee: $75
POD 1 players - futsal fees are already included in their travel registration, however they must still register for the program
POD 2 players - There is a 40 player limit for Pod 2 so it’s first come first serve

U11 and Older groups

7-week long training season at local facilities
Season runs from December 4th – February 11th/18th
- (Holiday Break from December Dec 19th – Jan 1st )
Teams will participate in the Alexandria Futsal Premier League
Limited number of teams per age group due to the highly competitive environment of the league
Fee: $335

Tryout Information: U11 - Highschool age groups only

Date: Tuesday November 14th
Times: 5:00pm-6:00pm - 2013 Boys; 2011 Girls; 2012 Girls
6:15pm-7:15pm - 2013 Girls; 2011 Boys; 2012 Boys
7:30pm-8:30pm - High School Boys; High School Girls; 2010 Boys; 2010 Girls
**HS age group is 2009-2007**
Location: Long Park Turf Field #6
There is NO FEE to tryout

Team Communication:

New this year, team communication will be via Demosphere’s app
Once teams are formed and players are registered, they will be added to their specific futsal team in Demosphere (similar to TeamSnap operations) and instructions will be sent out
